Campaign Overview
At Newman Catholic Schools, we are thankful for our many blessings. We know that what we are able to accomplish is due to the generous support of our parishes, parents, alumni and community. Newman Catholic Schools provide outstanding education and foster catholic identity in the greater Wausau area. We are embarking on a much needed and much anticipated capital campaign. This campaign, the "We Belong to Christ" campaign, is in conjunction with an all-parish campaign designed by the Diocese of La Crosse.
Three areas of need have been identified.
- Canceling out debt to our Diocesan Department and Loan fund
- Providing state of the art academic opportunities
- Repairs and upgrades to our high school
The We Belong to Christ campaign addresses all three areas. Our campaign will utilize two-thirds of funds for repairs and upgrades to Newman Catholic High School and academic growth, with the remaining one third applied to debt reduction. Local parish We Belong to Christ campaigns will also contribute a percentage of funds in support of Newman Catholic Schools' capital campaign goals.

Newman Catholic Schools successfully worked within our operating budget the last two fiscal years. Reducing debt to the Diocese will ensure our financial future.
Newman Catholic Schools has a great foundation and now is the time to build on that foundation. It is critical to update Newman Catholic High School to meet the needs of this generation of students and the next.
